Reverse description Printed entirely in purple. A central oval vignette presents the Government Palace in Managua (built 1892) in a detailed architectural engraving, framed by elaborate guilloche scrollwork. The denomination numeral "50" appears in large figures at left and right, with inscriptions for the Republic and the National Treasury along the lower border.
