| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by an intaglio portrait of Juan Bautista Alberdi at right, set against a guilloche underprint with a dark rosette watermark pattern at far right. The upper portion carries the issuer inscription in two lines, with a central text block identifying these as Letras de Cancelación de Obligaciones Provinciales (LECOP), al portador.
