Obverse description Black intaglio on a blue guilloche underprint with red oval underprint elements. A large ornate numeral at centre is flanked by intricate lathe-work patterns, while an intaglio vignette at right presents a young shepherdess holding a lamb with a sheep at her feet. Red serial numbers appear at upper left and upper right, with series letters at lower left and upper right.
