| Obverse description | The central vignette presents an intaglio-rendered view of the Government Building complex at Matagialalua, set against a lavender and blue guilloche underprint with traditional Samoan siapo pattern borders along the top and bottom margins. To the right of the architectural vignette, an oval window element displays a traditional carved Samoan fa'a Samoa motif in warm amber tones, serving as a secondary design element. Two facsimile signatures appear at lower right, those of the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Central Bank of Samoa, with the large numeral "50" in the lower left corner and a vertical serial number repeated along the right edge. |
