| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in brown and ochre tones on a cream ground, with the issuer's name ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ running along the top margin flanked by the numeral 50 in corner cartouches. The left field carries the Kazakh denomination ЕЛУ ТИЫН in large bold lettering beneath a horizontal band of fine floral guilloche, with the date 1993 below, while an elaborate circular medallion to the right encloses a large ornate numeral 50 set within an eight-pointed star underprint of intricate geometric lacework. Decorative borders of traditional Kazakh ornamental motifs run along the upper and lower edges, and a microprint security band is visible across the mid-field. |
