| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Cameroon occupies the centre of a finely dotted field, depicting a shield bearing scales of justice surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by two crossed fasces. A scroll at the base of the shield bears the bilingual legends REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON and REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN. The national motto appears in both French and English in the upper field: PAIX TRAVAIL PATRIE and PEACE WORK FATHERLAND.
