Comments

A fantasy note with no monetary authority behind it — the Bank van Nederlands Oost-Indië dissolved in 1953 when De Javasche Bank was nationalized and ultimately became Bank Indonesia. Medina's polymer productions, issued decades after any plausible institutional continuity, exist entirely outside the issuing tradition they invoke.

Collector interest in these pieces rests entirely on the production quality and novelty of the polymer substrate, not on any historical claim.
