| Obverse description | Dark brown on multicolour underprint. An intaglio portrait vignette of Baroque painter Peter Johann Brandl (1668–1735), engraved by Jindřich Schmidt in 1942 after Brandl's own self-portrait of circa 1695, occupies the right side of the note. Bilingual German and Czech text identifying the issuing authority and the date of issue, 24 February 1942, is distributed across the face, with serial number and the signatures of the Bankovní rada appearing in the lower portion. |
