| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in blue-green tones on a fine guilloche underprint with elaborate floral and geometric corner medallions in the Ottoman decorative tradition. At the top centre, the imperial tughra is set within an ornate cartouche, flanked on both sides by the numeral 500 in Arabic script; the central panel carries the Ottoman inscription of the issuing authority within an arched frame, with the date and serial number B-000362 at lower left and right. Two circular rosette vignettes occupy the lower corners, and two manuscript signatures appear across the central field. |

The surrounding border is composed of intricate guilloche latticework and stylised floral ornaments consistent with the obverse decorative scheme; the serial number B-000362 appears at the upper centre, and the denomination numeral 500 is printed in large Western numerals at the lower centre.
