Obverse description Central vignette comprises an intaglio-rendered bas-relief sculpture of two Apsara dancers in traditional Khmer attire, their headdresses and jewellery rendered in fine detail against a green guilloche underprint. The denomination '500' appears in Khmer numerals at lower left and upper right corners, with Khmer script inscriptions across the upper register. Three manuscript signatures of bank officials are positioned to the right of the central vignette, above a line of Khmer text.
