| Obverse description | Central field features the official emblem of the Bank of Mongolia — a stylised architectural cartouche surmounted by the soyombo symbol, enclosing the Cyrillic inscription 'Монгол Банк' in cursive script with a decorative flourish beneath, resting on a lotus-petal base. Traditional Mongolian script legends flank the emblem vertically on both sides of the field. The denomination '500' in large numerals and 'ТӨГРӨГ' in Cyrillic appear prominently in the lower field. The coin's broad rim is decorated with a continuous series of fine serrations. |
