| Reverse description | The reverse presents a striking double-portrait composition of the Magnificent Argali (Ovis ammon): a mature ram's head is depicted in imposing frontal view dominating the right field, its massive ribbed spiral horns rendered in extraordinary high relief with exceptional sculptural depth, while a second full-bodied Argali in left-facing profile occupies the left and background field, its coat delineated through fine engraved linework conveying naturalistic fur texture. The interplay of frosted relief against mirror-polished proof fields creates dramatic chiaroscuro contrast across the entire composition. The reverse bears no legends or inscriptions. |

| Additional information |
The argali (Ovis ammon) is the world's largest wild sheep and holds protected status in Mongolia under the 2012 Law on Fauna, yet trophy hunting licenses have been intermittently sold to foreign nationals — a political contradiction that has drawn sustained criticism from domestic conservation groups. Mongolia's commemorative silver program has leaned heavily on endemic megafauna since the 1990s, partly as a soft-power exercise in projecting ecological stewardship.
