| Obverse description | Central device consists of the Mongolian state emblem — the soyombo symbol — set within an ornate arch-shaped cartouche resting on a stylised lotus base, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The Cyrillic legend МОНГОЛ БАНК (Bank of Mongolia) appears in decorative script across the centre of the cartouche. Traditional Mongolian script legends flank the central device to the left and right. The denomination 500 ТӨГРӨГ is inscribed in large numerals and Cyrillic lettering below the cartouche, with the Latin legend MONGOLIA 25gr 925 SILVER along the lower rim. |
