| Obverse description | Central field features the state emblem of the Bank of Mongolia — a crowned soyombo symbol rendered in high relief — flanked on either side by vertical inscriptions in the traditional Mongolian script. The bank name 'Монгол Банк' appears in Cyrillic script within a decorative cartouche beneath the crown emblem. Below the emblem, the face value '500 ТӨГРӨГ' is boldly struck in large numerals and Cyrillic lettering.
