| Reverse description | The reverse features a finely detailed quill pen rendered diagonally across the centre of the field, its nib pointing to the lower left and its plume extending to the right, symbolising the Freising Manuscripts — the oldest known documents written in a Slavic language. To the left of the quill, a cursive Glagolitic script inscription is incused into the darkened field, evoking the ancient writing tradition commemorated by this issue. The legend 'BRIZINSKI SPOMENIKI' appears in two lines at the upper right, with 'SKOF ABRAHAM' inscribed below it, and the commemorative dates '994 - 1994' at the lower right, marking the millennium of Bishop Abraham's authorship. |
