| Reverse description | The reverse centre, struck in copper-nickel, depicts a schematic diagram of a quadrant — the precision measuring instrument associated with the Slovenian mathematician and artillery officer Jurij Vega — rendered with intersecting lines radiating from a central point and divided into labelled sectors bearing letters such as B, G, N, D, R, E, C, S, H, P and A, evoking a page from Vega's logarithmic tables or a geometric construction.
