Obverse description Brown-on-cream state treasury bond printed in letterpress, with elaborate guilloche borders at all four corners and along the top and bottom margins. The central text panel carries the legend ЦАРСТВО БЪЛГАРИЯ across the upper portion, the denomination 5000 in large figures at the four corners, and a full Cyrillic body text stating terms of redemption at the Bulgarian National Bank, dated Sofia, 15 November 1944. The Bulgarian royal arms appear in an ornate circular vignette at the right, with a red serial number and an asterisk printed below the heading.

Reverse description Printed entirely in orange, the reverse carries an elaborate guilloche frame with the denomination 5000 in large numerals at the top, bottom, and side panels. The central area is dominated by a detailed interest and redemption value table headed СТОЙНОСТ, showing the accruing capital and interest amounts calculated at 3% annual interest for dates on the 5th, 15th, and 25th of each month from November 1944 through November 1946. A block of Cyrillic legal text above the table cites the authorizing legislation and conditions of compulsory acceptance.
