| Reverse description | Within the copper-nickel centre, a forward-facing elephant head is depicted superimposed upon an outline map of the African continent, with individual country borders lightly engraved across the map's surface. Below the central device, the denomination '6.000 CFA' and the series designation '4 AFRICA' are inscribed in the lower field. The surrounding brass ring carries the circular legend 'EMISSION HONORANT UN PRESIDENT AFRICAIN AU SERVICE DE SON PAYS' with a star as separator, honouring an African president in service to his country. |

| Additional information |
The "4 Africa" denomination was part of a short-lived regional coinage project promoted by the African Financial Community in the early 2000s, intended to circulate alongside the CFA franc as a kind of pan-African symbolic currency. Niger was among the handful of member states that issued pieces under this scheme. The 6000 Francs CFA face value was essentially nominal — these coins saw negligible actual circulation and were largely absorbed by the collector market on issue.
