| Obverse description | Central field features the early Chilean coat of arms comprising a divided shield bearing a five-pointed star, flanked by a rearing crowned horse to the left and a standing crowned condor to the right, both serving as supporters. Above the shield rises a plumed crest. The base of the composition is adorned with foliate and floral ornamental scrollwork. The design is enclosed within a plain inner border and a fine beaded outer rim. No legend appears on this face. |
