Obverse description The Chilean coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield bearing a five-pointed star, supported on the left by a crowned rampant horse and on the right by a crowned condor, both rendered in fine detail. A decorative spray of three feathered plumes rises above the shield, while a scroll or cartouche appears at the base of the supporters. The date appears in the lower field, flanked by small floral ornaments. The legend REPUBLICA DE CHILE arcs around the upper periphery, with the entire design bordered by a finely milled or beaded rim.
