Obverse description Armored bust of King Carlos III facing right, depicted with curled hair tied at the nape with a ribbon, wearing a cuirass with decorative detailing at the shoulder. The effigy occupies the central field and is rendered in high relief in the Neoclassical colonial style. The circular legend reads CAROLUS III D G HISP ET IND REX, with the date positioned at the base of the bust below the truncation, separated by pellets.

Reverse description The quartered royal arms of Spain displayed on an ornate crowned shield, featuring the castles of Castile and lions of León in the principal quarters, with the escutcheon of the House of Bourbon in the center point. The shield is encircled by the collar and badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece, rendered with fine decorative links and floral ornaments. The mint mark Mo and assayer initials MM appear at the base of the design, flanking the collar. The peripheral legend arcs around the upper field.
