| Obverse description | Right-facing draped and armored bust of King Carlos III, rendered in high relief with elaborate period court dress including a lace cravat and decorative epaulettes. The king's wig with side curls is rendered in fine detail, characteristic of late 18th-century Spanish colonial portraiture.
