Obverse description Armored and draped bust of King Fernando VI facing right, wearing a curled periwig and the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece, rendered in high relief in the Baroque portrait style. The effigy occupies the majority of the coin's field, with fine drapery detail visible at the truncation. The circumferential legend reads FERDINANDUS.VI.D.G.HISP.REX, separated from the portrait by a plain inner field. The date 1759, flanked by two rosette stops, appears in the lower exergual area beneath the bust.
