| Obverse description | Draped bust of Hera facing right, her hair elaborately arranged and surmounted by a tall stephane (polos-style crown), the characteristic attribute of the queen of the Olympian gods. The portrait is rendered in a late Hellenistic style with bold, rounded modeling. A dotted border encircles the design within the coin's rim. No legend appears on the obverse, the deity's identity conveyed solely through her distinctive headdress. |

| Reverse description | A peacock, the sacred bird of Hera and emblematic type of Samian coinage, depicted standing to the right with its long tail trailing behind it, perched upon a kerykeion (caduceus) laid horizontally across the field. The Greek ethnic legend ΣΑΜΙΩΝ is inscribed along the lower exergual area, identifying the issuing city of Samos. The composition is set within a plain border, the style characteristic of late Hellenistic civic bronze coinage of Ionia. |
