| Reverse description | Warrior on horseback galloping to the right, depicted in a dynamic composition with a cloak billowing behind him and a couched lance held forward in the attack position. The horse is rendered with vigorous energy, its legs fully extended in a full gallop. The ethnic inscription ΚΟΛ appears in the upper left field, while the magistrate's name ΙΚΕΣΙΟΥ is inscribed in the lower exergual area. The overall style reflects the energetic die-cutting traditions of Ionian civic bronzes of the early Hellenistic period. |
