| Obverse description | Crudely struck hammered silver flan bearing a multi-line Arabic legend arranged in four lines across the field, reading 'Sultan of the Two Lands and Khagan of the Two Seas / the Sultan son of the Sultan / Ahmed Khan.' The inscription is executed in a compressed, informal naskh script typical of late Ottoman small silver coinage. The irregular flan shows characteristic hammered surface texture with slightly ragged edges. No figurative devices or borders are present, the entire face being devoted to the royal titulature. |
