| Obverse description | The obverse depicts a World War II-era pilot in the cockpit of a propeller aircraft, wearing a flight helmet and goggles and giving a thumbs-up gesture. The legend FLYVÅPENET arcs along the upper rim, while a circular cartouche in the lower left field bears the inscription ROYAL·NORWEGIAN·AIR·FORCE·LITTLE NORWAY flanking three roundel insignia. Two smaller aircraft in relief appear in the lower portion of the field. |
