Obverse description Left-facing bare bust of Queen Anne in high relief, with elaborately styled hair adorned with a pearl or bead ornament and a braided curl falling to the shoulder. The legend flanks the effigy, with the name to the left and the regnal dates to the right. The rim is decorated with a continuous border of fine beading.

Reverse description Britannia seated facing right on rocky ground, holding a trident in her left hand and an olive or laurel branch in her outstretched right hand. A wheel bearing the Union Jack device rests against her side. The engraver's initials appear in the lower left of the field. The rim is bordered with fine beading.
