| Obverse description | Central royal crown (chada) with a tall finial surmounted by radiating rays and a small star, flanked symmetrically on each side by a tiered ceremonial umbrella (chat) mounted on a pedestal, the entire composition set against an elaborate floral and foliate background with scrolling acanthus-like tendrils and stylised blossoms. Four small six-pointed stars are positioned in the field at the cardinal diagonals. The design is rendered in high relief in the traditional Thai royal iconographic style, enclosed within a plain inner circle and a beaded outer border. |
