| Reverse description | Highly stylised eagle depicted facing left with its head turned back to the right, rendered in the abstract Celtic artistic tradition typical of late Durotrigan billon issues. The bird's body, wings, and tail are suggested by broad, sweeping incuse lines and irregular relief areas rather than naturalistic detail. The design is a debased derivative of earlier Armorican and Gaulish prototypes, reduced to a schematic arrangement of curves and masses on the irregular flan. No legend or additional devices are present in the field. |
