| Reverse description | Stylized animal figure, most likely a horse or boar, rendered in the abstract Celtic idiom with schematic body and limbs. The design is heavily worn and struck on an irregular flan, making precise identification of subsidiary symbols difficult. The field surrounding the animal motif is largely flat with minor surface granulation from corrosion. This type of reverse is consistent with known Arvernian bronze issues catalogued under LT 3943, characteristic of late Gaulish coinage produced in the final decades before the Roman conquest consolidated the region. |
