Obverse description Helmeted and draped bust of a deity or ruler facing left, rendered in the schematized Celtic artistic tradition. The helmet is adorned with leaf-like cresting, and the hair falls in stylized striated locks behind the neck. The drapery is indicated by a series of pellets or globular elements at the shoulder and chest. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. The legend PIXTILOS appears in the field, identifying the issuing authority.
