Obverse description Draped bust of Tigranes V facing right, bearded, wearing a bead necklace and the distinctive Armenian tiara adorned with three eagles in relief, the tiara secured with a diadem whose ties fall behind the neck. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition, with fine drapery visible at the shoulder and the tiara serving as the principal dynastic emblem in the field.
