| Obverse description | Central square hole surrounded by the four-character legend 八方來財 in relief, arranged around the perforation. Eight lobed medallions encircle the field, each bearing the legend of one of the Five Emperors of the Qing Dynasty cash coins (康熙通寶, 雍正通寶, 乾隆通寶, 嘉慶通寶, 順治通寶), with stylized ruyi scroll decoration filling the spaces between them. The entire design is highlighted with red enamel coloring against the brass relief. |
