Vladimir Olgerdovich ruled Kyiv as a Lithuanian prince from 1362 until 1394, when Vytautas the Great stripped him of the principality and replaced him with a direct appointee. His coinage belongs to a narrow window in the early 1390s, issued under pressure as Lithuanian central authority tightened. At roughly 0.285g, these dengas are among the lightest struck under his name — a reflection of the debased, fragmented monetary conditions of post-Mongol Rus rather than any specific minting reform.
