| Obverse description | Schematic bust of Saint Lambert facing left, rendered in the crude Romanesque style typical of early medieval episcopal coinage. A crozier is depicted in front of the figure, serving as the principal episcopal attribute identifying the saint. The surrounding legend reads SCS LANBERTVS, introduced by a cross pattée, the lettering exhibiting the irregular, somewhat primitive character associated with hammered deniers of this period. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-struck silver coinage of the mid-eleventh century. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents the mint name VISOSAS arranged in two lines across the field, structured around an implied cross motif in accordance with the conventional Carolingian-derived denier type. The lettering is distributed symmetrically to suggest a cross-crosslet composition, with individual letter groups occupying the four quadrants. The execution is characteristically rough, with letters of uneven depth and spacing on the irregularly shaped flan, typical of anonymous episcopal issues struck at Visé during the early eleventh century. |
