Reverse description A plain inner circle encloses a second isosceles cross of similar form, with wedge-shaped ornaments (cunei) placed in the four angles between the cross arms, mirroring the obverse design. The surrounding field carries the territorial legend in bold Latin capitals. The strike is characteristically uneven, consistent with the hammered technique employed at the Árpád-era Hungarian royal mint.
