Obverse description Central isosceles cross dividing the field into four quarters, each containing a wedge-shaped ornament, enclosed within an inner pearl circle. The legend +LADISLAVS REX runs around the periphery outside the pearl border, reading 'King László'. The hammered flan is irregular in outline, characteristic of medieval Hungarian coinage of the late 11th century.

Reverse description Central isosceles cross dividing the field into four quarters, each containing a wedge-shaped ornament, enclosed within an inner line circle. The peripheral legend + PANONAI references Pannonia, the historical Roman province corresponding to the Hungarian kingdom's heartland. The design closely mirrors the obverse layout but substitutes a line circle for the pearl border, a subtle but catalogued distinction on this type.
