| Obverse description | Bracteate-style design displaying a stylized facing lion's mask at the top of the field, flanked by two confronted figures — likely heraldic eagles or leonine creatures — rendered in a schematic, archaic Romanesque manner typical of 12th-century Austrian pfennigs. The central field is occupied by a cross-shaped arrangement of pellets and globules, with additional small animal or foliate motifs in the lower quadrants. The flan is irregular and the entire design is executed in low relief without a surrounding legend, consistent with the anonymous bracteate tradition of the Krems mint. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays a horseman in profile facing left, depicted in the schematic Romanesque style characteristic of 12th-century Austrian deniers, with the rider's cloak and mount rendered in bold, simplified relief. The horse is shown in a striding posture, and the rider appears to carry a lance or staff. The flan is irregularly shaped with a slightly uneven strike, and the design fills the entire field without a surrounding legend, a typical feature of the Krems mint issue under Duke Leopold V. |
