Obverse description Central field features a stylized heraldic eagle or animal figure rendered in a bold, primitive Gothic style, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend reads MEINHARDVS COMES in uncial Latin characters, distributed around the coin's periphery between the beaded border and the outer rim. The flan is irregular, characteristic of hand-struck medieval coinage, with slight weakness in the strike across portions of the legend. The overall design reflects the feudal artistic conventions of thirteenth-century Austrian territorial coinage.
