Obverse description Central field depicts a stylized crown within a beaded inner circle, the crown rendered in crude but characteristic early medieval fashion with three fleurs or points rising above the band. Above the inner circle, an additional cross or star-like ornament is visible in the outer field. A partial letter or symbol appears to the left of the inner circle in the outer field. The overall design is executed in a primitive, bold relief typical of early Piast dynasty coinage.
