The cross extends nearly to the inner beaded circle, creating a bold and symmetrical design. A partial legend is present in the outer field, though largely illegible due to flan irregularity and wear consistent with hammered medieval silver coinage. The style is closely related to contemporary Carolingian and Occitan feudal denier types. |
