| Obverse description | Crudely struck hammered silver denier displaying a monogram in the center of the field composed of the letters forming the name THEODRICH (Theoderich), arranged in an interlaced or stacked configuration. The legend or letter elements are distributed across the flan in a manner typical of early medieval episcopal coinage, with individual letters or letter groups placed in the quarters of the design.
