Reverse description Nike, the goddess of victory, advancing left in dynamic pose, her drapery rendered in motion. She extends her right hand forward holding a wreath, the primary symbol of victory and civic honor. In the left field, the magistrate's name is recorded in two lines as ΘEOΔΩ above EPMH, presented as ligature monograms. The ethnic legend ΣΕΛΕΥΚΕΩΝ ΤΩΝ ΠΡΟΣ ΤΩΙ ΚΑΛΥΚΑΔΝΩΙ, identifying the issuing city as the Seleuceia on the Kalykadnos, runs around the periphery of the field.
