Reverse description Athena Promachos striding vigorously to the left, wearing a crested helmet and aegis, thrusting a long spear forward with her right hand while holding a large round shield on her left arm. The goddess is depicted in a dynamic martial pose characteristic of Hellenistic bronze coinage. The figure occupies the central field, rendered in relief typical of hammered provincial bronzes of the late Ptolemaic period. The reverse field shows evidence of irregular flan preparation consistent with the mint output at Chalkis ad Libanon.
