| Reverse description | A tall palm tree occupies the central field, with an eagle standing to the left of the trunk. To the right of the palm tree appears the monogram ΣΤ alongside the name of the magistrate Menesthe, while the ethnic name of the city (ΙΕΡΑΠΥ) is inscribed at the bottom. The entire composition is encircled by a laurel wreath border, a hallmark of Cretan civic coinage of the Hellenistic period. |
