| Obverse description | Within a border of small pellets, a seated figure — likely the Sultan — is depicted cross-legged and facing forward, holding aloft a large crescent. A six-pointed star appears beneath each elbow, flanking the central figure symmetrically. The composition is rendered in a stylized Artuqid-influenced manner typical of 12th-century Jaziran copper coinage. The entire design is enclosed within a dotted border. |
