Reverse description A central square is enclosed within a circle, with four 'knots of happiness' (endless knot ornaments) placed in the outer segments between the square and the circle. The interior of the square contains a three-line Arabic inscription giving the mint authority or religious formula, with the AH date inscribed below the square. The geometric layout is characteristic of Golden Horde Bulghar mint issues of this period.
