Reverse description Central field bearing the name and titles of Ilkhan Arghun in Mongolian script, arranged in multiple horizontal lines across the flan. The legend reads the royal titulature identifying Arghun as the ruling Khan. The script is rendered in the Uighur-Mongolian tradition characteristic of Ilkhanid administrative and monetary usage. The flan is irregularly shaped, as typical of hammered dirhams of this period and region.
