| Obverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription in angular Kufic-influenced script, occupying the majority of the flan. The legends are arranged in horizontal registers and contain the ruler's name and titles. The coin displays the characteristic irregular, slightly convex flan typical of hammered Chagatai silver dirhams. The strike is bold though somewhat off-center, with portions of the legend extending toward the uneven rim. |
